After 10 seasons in the MLS, Mike Chabala set out to find his passion off the field. Though he first explored the finance world, Chabala honed in on the fitness industry after finding traditional group exercise classes lacking in the connections and camaraderie that soccer provides. Seeing an opportunity to create something that the market wasn't providing, Chabala created sphere, a soccer inspired fitness concept that sets out to provide personal connections in addition to a workout. Now, sphere has solidified a place in the Houston and Austin fitness scene and has its sights set on expanding to Brooklyn.
Check out sphere on Twitter and Instagram, and learn more about the concept on their website. You can also keep up with Chabala on Twitter and Instagram.
