At just 24 years-old, Russell Canouse's career has already taken him from Pennsylvania, to Germany and now back to the nation's capitol. The DC United midfielder got his start after making the decision to leave home at just 16 to join Hoffenheim's academy in 2011. Canouse made his Bundesliga debut in March of 2016, but ultimately made the choice to return stateside in 2017.
While his career on the field was getting started, Canouse discovered a passion off the pitch: real estate. After returning to the U.S., Canouse started seriously pursuing his passion and with the help of a mentor and business partner now has an athlete-focused real estate business in the works.
