Law Clerk
(Year-long in-person commitment)
The MLSPA, located in Bethesda, MD, is accepting applications from first- and second-year law students for paid Law Clerk positions beginning in April 2026 with a preferred part-time start in March 2026. Each Law Clerk will be involved in all aspects of the MLSPA’s Legal Department’s responsibilities, with a focus on contract administration, compliance, group licensing, and data tracking. The MLSPA is seeking a year-long, in-person commitment from law clerks (full-time hours during summer break and part-time during the academic year). As such, preferred candidates should be located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area or within reasonable commuting distance from Spring 2026 through at least Spring 2027.

Applicant Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing and proof reading skills
 - Developing legal research skills
 
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment and deliver timely and high-quality work
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labor unions or soccer and an interest in a career in labor or soccer
 - Fluency or Professional Working Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French
 
Pay Range: starting at $22.50 per hour
