Tim Howard was one of the founding members of the original MLSPA executive board where he served for one year. He is currently the starting goalkeeper and captain for the Colorado Rapids.
Tim began his MLS career as a member of the MetroStars from 1998-2003. He then went on to play for Manchester United and Everton in the British Premier League before returning to MLS in 2016.
Tim was also a staple of the United States men’s national team from 2002-2017, and is the most capped goalie of all-time for the U.S. with 121 appearances. In 2014, he set a World Cup record with 15 saves in the round of 16 versus Belgium.
