Evan Whitfield was elected to the MLSPA Executive Board in 2004 where he served for one year.
Evan spent seven seasons in MLS, playing for the Chicago Fire and Real Salt Lake from 1999-2005. He played college soccer for Duke University.
Evan also competed for the United States men’s national team in the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Following his retirement, Evan graduated from DePaul Law School in 2006. He currently is a partner at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP and also works a commentator for the Chicago Fire.
