Brian Ching was appointed to the MLSPA Executive Board in 2005 where he served for two years.

Brian spent 13 seasons in MLS, playing for the LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders, San Jose Earthquakes and Houston Dynamo from 2001-2013. He was a six-time All-Star and won three MLS Cups. Prior to his professional career, Brian played college soccer for Gonzaga University.

From 2003-2010, Brian made 45 appearances and scored 11 goals for the United States men’s national team, becoming the first Hawaiian to play for the U.S.

Currently, Brian works for both the Dynamo and the Houston Dash, the team’s NWSL affiliate. He is involved with various social causes within the Houston community.
