Ethan Finlay is currently a midfielder for Minnesota United FC after a move from Columbus Crew where he spent the first 6 years of his MLS career. Ethan scored 30 goals in 150 appearances for the Crew and in 2015 became the second Crew player to record double figures in goals and assists. That year he also earned spots in the MLS Best XI and the MLS All-Star team.

Ethan played his college soccer at Creighton University where he started every match. He scored 43 goals during his time at Creighton and led the team to a 21-2-1 record during his senior year. Among the many honors he earned during his college career, Ethan was a MAC Hermann Trophy Finalist and a first-team NCSAA All-American.

Ethan was also called up to the US Men’s National Team in 2016 and made 3 appearances for the team.
