Jalil Anibaba is a defender for Nashville SC and was elected to the MLS Players Association's Executive Board in 2020. After being drafted ninth overall in the 2011 MLS Draft, Jalil spent time with several clubs, most recently including Houston and New England, before landing in Nashville for their first season as an expansion team. Outside of MLS, he previously made appearances for the US U-18 National team and took part in the Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Jalil played three seasons for Santa Clara University before transferring to the University of North Carolina, where he appeared in the NCAA College Cup and earned NSCAA Second Team All-American honors.

Off the pitch, Jalil serves as an Executive Board Member for Black Players For Change.
